Shopify + eBay sync questions

Does this work with Shopify POS as well?
Yes. If you use Shopify POS for in-person sales, those inventory changes are reflected in Shopify’s stock levels, which Commerce Kitty then syncs to eBay. Walk-in sales won’t leave your eBay listings showing stock you no longer have.
What about eBay listings with Best Offer enabled?
Commerce Kitty monitors accepted offers as completed sales and triggers the inventory update accordingly. Auto-accepted Best Offers are also handled. the eBay stock will update as soon as the transaction is confirmed.
Can I set a buffer stock level (e.g., keep 2 on each platform)?
Yes. You can configure stock buffers per channel, so Commerce Kitty holds back a safety stock on eBay even when Shopify shows it available. This is useful for high-velocity SKUs where you want extra protection against simultaneous sales.
How long does the initial product import take?
For most sellers, the initial import and matching takes 5–15 minutes depending on catalog size. Commerce Kitty automatically matches products using SKU, barcode, or title similarity, then shows you a confirmation screen before activating sync.
Does it sync both ways (eBay to Shopify too)?
Yes. Sync is bidirectional. A sale on eBay updates Shopify, and a sale on Shopify updates eBay. You can also configure which platform is the “master” if you prefer one to drive the other in edge cases.
